I'm a truck driver. Does that mean I am exempt?
Under California law, many truck drivers are exempt from California overtime, and the California Labor Board will tell you
that you are not entitled to overtime. If you don't drive a truck across state lines, however, and the shipments that you are transporting are not part of interstate commerce, then you may be entitled to overtime under federal law.
