DUA (Disaster Unemployment Assistance)

If the President of the United States declares a disaster in your area, payment of Disaster Unemployment Assistance (DUA) may be authorized. Individuals who become unemployed as a result of the disaster, and who do not qualify for regular Unemployment Insurance (UI) benefits, may file for DUA.

DUA 가 바로 재난으로 실직을 당했을때 재난실직보조 프로그램이 발동이 됩니다. 이런경우, 반드시 대통령이 해당 지역에 재난으로 선포를 한 상태이어야 합니다.
